Client Testimonials

"Ever since I started this path with Shane my rugby skills have been next level. Most of my accomplishments and selections wouldn’t be possible without Shane’s help"
Chris Ferrigno
"I am not an athlete, but Shane's program introduced me to incorporating elements of athletic training that have given me the confidence in my 50's to rekindle my passion for hiking and the outdoors. Previously, I had been much more wary of injury or not having the strength/ endurance to get out there and enjoy a long hike."
Andre Sanchez
"I appreciated your commitment to basics first. I liked doing similar movements each week to more tangibly feel I was getting stronger, with an appropriate amount of new/different movements to keep things interesting. I also benefited from doing exercises I don’t gravitate towards naturally (e.g. pogo hopping). Unfortunately, I learned the lesson too late that you don’t need to feel dead after exercising for it to be impactful, and your approach helped me realize all types of movement play a role in the bigger, longer-term picture."
Ellen Ramsey
"Shane gave me the attention that no money could afford, texting me links to podcasts or showing me books to read, taking video of my form and reviewing on his own time, even tracking every workout rep/set I did for months on end to review my progress. In my first year training with Shane, I went from 6’3 190lbs to 6’4 215lbs of muscle, my split squat went from 185 to 405, my dumbbell bench went from 55’s to 100’s, my throwing velocity went from 80 to 87, 60yd sprint from 7.3 down to a 6.8, and my exit velocity from 95 to 106."

Measure

Nothing matters unless we establish an adequate baseline directed by what your goals are. Want to increase vertical jump? Great let's see where strength and power are at. Want to run a 5K for the first time? Awesome, let's see what your tissue tolerance is like. Want to do a 100-mile bike ride? Perfect! Let's see what kind of aerobic/anaerobic capacity you have.

Analyze

This is where we interepret the information and start crafting the skeleton for how we get you to your goal. Maybe you're strong as an ox but gravity works hard against you when you jump - Let's bias towards getting springier. Maybe you can bike for days, but the moment you start running your calves cramp and you get fatigued - let's get going on general strength + low intensity plyos .. you get the idea

develop

We build the appropriate training structure/framework to fit your schedule, strengths, and work ons for your goal. An athlete gunning for a pro or olympic contract will have a plan very different from the Dad of 3 that runs sales at a publicly traded company.

Perform and achieve

Under the guidance of Coach Erik and Coach Shane, now comes the fun part of executing on the plan. For most clients, we'll find a retest rhythm of every 4-8 weeks depending on the goal and what the plan is like. But with the plan in place, all that's left to do is execute. So what are you waiting for?
